Shay Garcia | Owner
Originally hailing from Denver, Colorado, I made the leap to the Sunshine State in 2019, drawn by the allure of the ocean and fueled by my unwavering passion for event planning.
With a rich background spanning city festivities, university functions, weddings, legal gatherings, judicial fundraisers, and even biker rallies, I decided it was time to bring my expertise to life by establishing Saltwater Blue Events. With a decade of hands-on experience under my belt, I've orchestrated everything from dynamic Harley Davidson events to sophisticated galas for the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.
Equipped with a degree in event management, hospitality, and tourism from Metropolitan State University of Denver, I've honed my craft both domestically and abroad. My international perspective was enriched through studies at the Prague University of Economics and Business, where I delved into the intricacies of international business and global meetings and expositions.
My forte lies in catering to the unique needs of each client, whether their event calls for a minimalist touch, a grandiose affair (or, as I affectionately term it, an "EXTRA" extravaganza), or something in between. My meticulous attention to detail coupled with my knack for seamlessly resolving any unforeseen challenges truly sets me apart.
Beyond the meticulous execution of flawless events, I find solace in the rhythm of dance, the intensity of boxing, and the serene hues of Miami's blue skies. Above all, I cherish moments spent with my loved ones, rounding off the perfect balance to a fulfilling life dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences.
